(3/5) What drew you to Matt's services?
I have previously worked with Matt in the delivery of performance coaching training for managers in a number of organisations and for coaching support for some managers who have faced difficulties in managing performance issues and conflict within teams. Matt's professionalism, skills, knowledge and experience as both a trainer and as a coach has been exceptional at all times. This has enabled managers to develop their skills and abilities both professionally and personally to meet the challenges that they have faced with competence and confidence.
What was your biggest challenge prior to working with Matt?
The confidence of a relatively inexperienced manager to have difficult and constructive conversations with their team members to tackle challenging behaviours and bring about the required levels of performance improvement and team cohesion. This was impacting negatively on both the manager and their team members, causing a breakdown in working relationships which was affecting their performance as individuals and as a team.
What changed after working with Matt?
Following the coaching support, the manager was able to address the issues with the member of staff. The coaching support enabled the manager to identify the areas of their own personal competence, their fears and concerns impacting upon the working relationship to take ownership, face the challenges confidently and identify and implement solutions.
What specific results can you share?
The coaching support has had a lasting impact upon the individual, enabling them to develop strategies to deal assertively with conflict and times of self-doubt in their own ability. This has enabled them to develop their levels of personal resilience and mental strength to meet both personal and professional challenges with confidence and greater competence.

I have first-hand experience of the positive and lasting impact that Matt has had on staff within a range of different organisations. Matt is authentic, honest and genuine. He is able to engage with individuals at all level, instilling confidence and trust from the very beginning. His knowledge, skills and experience are first class and he works hand in hand with you to get the best possible outcome for the individual. Without his coaching support, we would have either lost our manager to long term sickness absence or through resignation as they were unable to move forward.
