Credible Coach conducts research and provides insights into both personal and professional coaches. Coaches who excel at sales and marketing may not make excellent coaches. To determine a coach's credibility, we look at past client success. The coaching industry is unregulated, which means anyone can call themselves a coach without experience, qualifications, training, or accountability. As part of our commitment to transparency in the coaching industry, we personally contact past clients, run background checks and do online checks, and verify coaching certificates. Coaches who agree to be vetted by Credible Coach agree to be held accountable and to follow our code of conduct and ethics.
What do we check?
Ethical marketing and selling
Track record of success helping clients make powerful progress
Committed to their own continued professional development
Experience, qualifications, certification and training related to coaching
What Is Coaching?
The purpose of a coach is to help you close the gap between where you are and where you would like to be. Coaches are experts in human behaviour change, so rather than just telling you what they think you should do, they help you uncover any limiting beliefs or fears that may be holding you back. Coaches can help you gain a much deeper awareness of yourself, give you a sounding board, give you a new perspective, help you gain clarity, motivate you, and hold you accountable. A coach won't remove all obstacles for you - in fact, you may find yourself finding parts of your journey more challenging, as they won't look past patterns of procrastination, excuses, or self-sabotaging behaviour. Nevertheless, if you are serious about reaching your full potential, feeling more fulfilled, and getting more focused much faster than you could on your own, coaching is the right choice for you.
